Well, I’ve finally made the leap and leased an office for my business. The new office is in a shared office building with a few other businesses but it’s very quiet overall. The office space is pretty large and I will have plenty of room (much more than I do now). There is even enough space in my office to put a table and chairs to meet with clients, if I choose to.

It has a lot of benefits, but the most beneficial thing will be separating my personal and business lives. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been on the phone with a client when my daughter would come running down the hall screaming at the top of her lungs “Da Da Da Da” (and she’s only been walking for a few months!) Other benefits include being across the street from my bank, two blocks away from downtown, and more.
